Nick is an authentic, dynamic, compassionate, and solution-focused Psychologist who places great importance on empathy and collaboration. With 20+ years of experience in both the public and private sectors, he uniquely combines his expertise in clinical psychology with a far-reaching international corporate career to engage and support clients in therapy. Nick is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to gain greater self-awareness and empowerment, enabling them to take steps towards living more fulfilling and meaningful lives. 

Nick works clinically with adults experiencing a variety of presentations, including anxiety and mood-related concerns, gender, sexuality, sexual dysfunction concerns, LGBTQIA+ issues, life transitions, attachment issues, relationship difficulties, psych-oncology (cancer), grief and loss, stress and burnout. He utilises an integrative and individualised approach to treatment, drawing on various evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Nick also has a special interest in working with men to improve their mental health knowledge and reduce the stigma associated with seeking mental health support. Nick holds a Master of Clinical Psychology, Bachelor of Arts (Honours, Class 1), Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Bachelor of Business and Graduate Certificate in Human Resources. He is also a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and certified as an Executive and Leadership Coach, facilitator, and trainer.   

Dr James Morandini
Clinic Director

Dr James Morandini is the clinic director, and provides a rangepsychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. Heprovides specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management ofchildhood and adolescent gender dysphoria. He also providesassessment and diagnosis for gender dysphoria in adults and canprovide WPATH medical letters where appropriate. James also has afocus on matters of sexual orientation, including overcoming shame,relationship difficulties, and exploring identity confusion. Morebroadly James utilises CBT, DBT, and Schema Therapy in treatingmood and anxiety issues, as well as personality disorders.
