El's educational background includes a Doctorate of Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Sydney. She has a B.A. (hons) in Psychology from QLD University.

El has a passion for working with neurodiverse children and young people, and she recognises and celebrates the strengths that they have.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her clinics, and she makes every effort to ensure that the experience is an affirming and comfortable one for clients.

Before starting here at King Street Psychology Clinic, El worked as a paediatric clinical neuropsychologist at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick, as well as at Sydney Neurology. She has worked for over a decade in NSW Health in the assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions in children. El currently works here, as well as at Developmental Paediatrics. She is an occasional lecturer at the University of Wollongong. Her particular areas of interest include gender diversity, as well as Autism Spectrum, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.

Dr James Morandini
Clinic Director

Dr James Morandini is the clinic director, and provides a rangepsychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. Heprovides specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management ofchildhood and adolescent gender dysphoria. He also providesassessment and diagnosis for gender dysphoria in adults and canprovide WPATH medical letters where appropriate. James also has afocus on matters of sexual orientation, including overcoming shame,relationship difficulties, and exploring identity confusion. Morebroadly James utilises CBT, DBT, and Schema Therapy in treatingmood and anxiety issues, as well as personality disorders.
